Introduction
Goldline bream or Kapartan is considered a low-budget alternative to white Pomfret because of its flat body and tender and sweet taste. Although Goldline bream – kapartan is not very abundant in the Arabian sea, you will always get it for your fresh online seafood delivery.
Goldline is very famous in the Gulf and is usually exported from Pakistan. It closely relates to the normal sea bream but it’s slightly better in taste and texture.

Physical Attributes
Goldline Seabream has Scales on the body. It has a small Body depth. It has enlarged posterior molars in jaws as in Rhabdosargus. No preopercular flange is entirely naked, 7–9 gill rakers on the lower limb; 56–64 lateral line scales.
Color
The head and body silvery grey. The body sides are with yellow or golden longitudinal lines, as well as the yellowish coloration of pelvic and anal fins.
Size
On average, the Goldline bream size range is 200 to 500 grams per fish. However, other sizes are also occasionally available.
